After 23 years, Jesus Radicals is ceasing active operation and archiving its online presence. As we prepare for those steps, we are inviting supporters, contributors, and all that have participated in the community in some way to share their memories and reflections about its place in their lives. If you would like to join us in bidding it farewell, please answer the questions below. We will compile these love letters for publishing in late 2023. You can follow this link to find a google form where you can share your memories and reflections.
Rock! Paper! Scissors! Issue #7 Exit Left: Fugitivity and Destituent Power Issue #7, guest curated by Katrina Kniss, is an exploration of fugitivity and destituent power. In a world shaped by the forces of racialized capitalism and the carceral state, how does the emergence of a world defined by life lived in common become possible? Where there is no geography untouched by borders, how do we carve out space for a new world? In this issue, we hope to explore the ways ideas of destituent power and fugitivity (concepts from the Italian autonomÃa movement and the Black radical tradition) can renew Christian anarchist thought and practice as well as ways the Christian anarchist tradition, at its best, can provide examples of destiuent power in practice.
