A private pre-season event held in a secret warehouse in Budapest, Hungary, the inaugural Karate Combat: Genesis event took place on February 3, 2018. The event showcases the incredible depth of the fight roster highlighting many karate legends in various weight classes, competing for the first time ever in this new sporting league. This event features multiple fights including Elhadji Ndour vs. Achraf Ouchen, Reda Messaoudi vs. Luiz Rocha and the main event with Dionicio Gustavo vs. Rafael Aghayev.
