Catalan artist Jorge (or Jordi) Badía Romero started his career in the early 1950s, working on romance and adventure stories for Spanish collections like Trovador, Tres Hadas, Joya and Alex, often using his pseudonym Jobaro. During this first period, when teaming up with his brother Enrique Badía Romero, they used to sign with the pseudonym 'Hnos. Badía' (Badía Bros). One of these joint works was the six issue collection 'Kit Carson', published by Cliper in 1958. Later on, Jorge Badía Romero mainly worked for other countries, sometimes using his pseudonym Jorge B. Gálvez.

Jorge Badía was associated with Josep Toutain's Selecciones Ilustradas agency in the 1960s and 1970s. He did art on romance stories for the UK publisher Fleetway. In the second half of the 1970s he drew Spellbound's lead strip 'The Super Cats' for the Scottish publisher D.C. Thomson. Throughout the 1960s and the 1970s, he did a great amount of his work teaming up with his brother, who signed with his second surname Romero. As Jorge B. Galvez, he contributed a few short horror stories to US magazine Creepy (1971-76). In the 1980s, he made art for 'Tarzan' comics.
