Welcome to this week’s Los Angeles Times News Quiz. I’m Adam Tschorn, senior features writer, former game show question-and-answer man, and the guy who mined the last seven days of stories written by my colleagues to create the 10 handcrafted, California-focused, multiple-choice questions you’ll find below.

This week’s questions will test your recall on stories about a standout star of the 2024 Paris Paralympics (who happens to hail from L.A.), some just-announced music festival headliners, Hunter Biden’s surprise guilty plea, a shrinking late-night talk show and the late, great actor James Earl Jones (and where — besides CNN‘s commercials — you’ve heard his booming voice).
