Israel issues evacuation warning for Tyre and surrounding areas
The Israeli military on Sunday issued an urgent evacuation warning to residents of the southern Lebanese city of Tyre and nearby camps and neighborhoods, citing planned operations against Hezbollah.
In a statement, the military accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement and said it would act "with force" against the group. It said it did not intend to harm civilians but urged residents to leave the affected areas immediately.
The warning instructed residents of Tyre and the nearby camps of el-Buss and Zakzouk al-Mufdi, as well as surrounding neighborhoods identified on an issued map, to evacuate their homes and move north of the Zahrani River.
The Israeli military also warned that anyone located near Hezbollah members, facilities, or military equipment would be putting their lives at risk.
