Choose a reliable cloud provider
The first step is to select a cloud provider that meets your contact center's needs and expectations. You should look for a provider that has a proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, and compliant cloud services. You should also check their security certifications, policies, and procedures, as well as their data backup and recovery options. Additionally, you should review their service level agreements (SLAs) and understand their roles and responsibilities in case of a data breach or loss.
- I recently faced this situation and focused on the below points:- 1-Access Control- Limit data access as per role based permissions.(Create an authority matrix) 2-Ensure all data is encrypted for security purpose 3-Monitoring user activities and system events 4- Regular Audits to review logs and configurations for anything out of the way 5- Stringent Compliance Checks 6- Incident Response Plan-This is really important. You need to have a plan for addressing security breaches. 7- Continuous education of staff on security and data quality 8- Encourage External Audits for independent reviews.
