Last week, our team had the privilege of giving back to a community we operate in daily with a Volunteer Pick-Up Day outside of X Chicago Apartments! 🌎 Our team spent the afternoon raking and collecting litter along S Union Ave, filling six bags by the end! 🙌 We’re grateful for the chance to unite as a team and demonstrate our commitment to the neighborhoods we serve. A big thank you to the 25th Ward Office for providing the tools and trash pick-up, and to the team members who made time in their busy day to help out!

We catered in Arepas from BienMeSabe, a local Venezuelan restaurant, and sipped on Agua de Jamaica, a popular drink in Mexico. We also shared a slideshow that highlighted the traditions of Hispanic Heritage Month, along with fun facts and the history behind the delicious food we enjoyed! 🥑🍹 Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate and reflect on the rich and diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latin American communities. Our property managers wrapped up the rooftop season in style with their resident events in August! 🍗 Wicker Park Connection made a splash at their End-of-Summer Party, where residents enjoyed wings, appetizers, and drinks by the pool. 🍕 Low-Line Commons threw a Brew & Chew: Beer Tasting & Pizza Night, featuring a guided tasting experience, Chicago-style pizza, and a chance to win a raffle. 🌮 Motif on Belden residents put their knowledge to the test at Tacos, Tequila & Trivia Night, eating delicious food from a local Mexican restaurant while competing for raffle entries. 🍻 606 Blue brought the nostalgia with Beers & Bingo Night, featuring Taylor Swift, '80s, and '90s music bingo.
