About us
ACHE of Massachusetts is a professional association providing executive-level leaders of healthcare institutions with opportunities for professional collegiality and continuing education. ACHE of Massachusetts is an independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is "the premier association in New England for healthcare executives." Association Goals Education: ACHE of Massachusetts holds a variety of educational programs throughout the year. Our annual meeting is held during our fall conference. Programs encourage thought-provoking discussions on current healthcare topics. See our events page for current and past programs. Collegiality: ACHE of Massachusetts recognizes the importance of creating the opportunity to meet colleagues with similar professional responsibility. Our activities encourage networking and informal discussion of professional issues among members. History and Governance: Founded in 1968 by 29 hospital administrators in Massachusetts, ACHE of Massachusetts now represents a variety of health service organizations throughout New England. ACHE of Massachusetts is governed by an executive committee composed of president, past president, treasurer, program committee chair, and several members-at-large. Guest speakers discussed strategic approaches for ensuring the financial sustainability of healthcare systems while addressing current factors impacting margins. The Summit highlighted innovative strategies to safeguard the health and well-being of our healthcare communities and examined emerging partnership models that healthcare organizations are adopting to strengthen financial resilience and drive transformation.
