- How is AI transforming how demand is created and captured in hospitality? π AI-driven conversations are redefining how travelers discover, shop, and book. For hotels, this means a shift from visibility alone to staying relevant, connected, and in control across new AI-powered channels. This evolution requires more than individual tools. It calls for a connected approach that brings together AI commerce and portfolio-wide intelligence to support better decision-making and operational efficiency. At Amadeus, we are helping orchestrate this shift by enabling hotels to capture demand earlier, improve conversion, and simplify operations across their ecosystem. π Read the full announcement: https://lnkd.in/g4hkyj2m #TransformingHowTravelWorks #AI #Hospitality #TravelTech
- The travel playbook is changing. And it is changing fast. As AI scales and the industry becomes more interconnected, the real challenge is not just innovation, but delivering it in a way that works at scale.Elena Avila takes to the stage at #PhocuswrightEurope this week to offer her perspective on what it takes to navigate - and lead - in this new reality. - How is AI delivering real impact in corporate travel? π AI in corporate travel is already transforming how travel works in practice. Rather than reinventing travel programs overnight, the biggest shift is happening within everyday workflows: embedding AI into the tools and environments where travel managers and travelers already operate. The real impact comes when AI is integrated into existing systems, reducing the need to switch between tools and enabling decisions to happen directly within the flow of work. This is where value emerges: reducing friction, supporting better decisions, and connecting travel more naturally to day-to-day business activities. π Read Mark Cullenβs perspective: https://lnkd.in/ggzEkw4t #TransformingHowTravelWorks #AI #CorporateTravel #TravelTech
- Many of todayβs travelers are making more sustainable travel choices, from lower-emission journeys to experiences that support local communities. But sustainable travel is about both individual decisions and how the wider industry evolves, the two go hand in hand. In our latest blog, Manuel Rua, Head of Sustainability at Amadeus, shares how sustainability is shaping travel today and what it means for the future. π Read more: https://lnkd.in/gqUuQucp #Sustainability #TravelTech #ItsHowTravelWorksBetter
- Scaling AI requires more than technology. It depends on trust and meaningful application. In travel, this means orchestrating data, systems and partners to deliver value at scale. Excited to be working with Databricks to support this shift.#TransformingHowTravelWorks #AI #TravelTech #Data
Announcing OpenSharing, a new open standard for sharing data and AI assets across platforms and organizations. Five years ago, we pioneered open data sharing with Delta Sharing, the most widely adopted open protocol for secure zero-copy data sharing - used by thousands of partners and customers. Today, we're excited to announce its evolution to OpenSharing: The first open, vendor-neutral protocol for sharing AI assets, including agent skills, AI models, and unstructured data - in collaboration with partners including OpenAI, SAP, LSEG, Stripe, The Trade Desk, MinIO, Amadeus, Atlassian, and more. Enterprises can now use OpenSharing to share AI Assets, on-premises assets, as well as share structured and unstructured data in all formats. Hosted by The Linux Foundation, OpenSharing creates an open foundation for data and AI collaboration in the agentic era. https://lnkd.in/gmYBi-vU - How do you create truly seamless travel experiences, starting with the traveler? π§ As traveler expectations rise, the industry is shifting toward journeys that are more connected, more responsive, and designed around real needs rather than systems. In this conversation with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Giulia Rossi, shares why combining data, AI, and cloud with collaboration across the ecosystem is key to delivering these experiences at scale. βοΈ π Watch the video and explore the full perspective: https://lnkd.in/giBvFZGt #TransformingHowTravelWorks #AI #TravelTech #AWS
- How is biometrics enabling seamless end-to-end journeys? 𧳠Frictionless travel has long been an ambition. Today, biometrics is turning it into reality. Trusted digital identity connects every step of the journey, and can enable faster, more convenient and personalized travel experiences. Delivering this at scale depends on connecting the full travel ecosystem, from airlines and airports to hotels, mobility, and authorities. π Read Vvivi Hu's perspective, Chief Strategy Officer at Amadeus: https://lnkd.in/gs-N-zp9 #TransformingHowTravelWorks #AI #Biometrics #TravelTech

βοΈ #AI in the spotlight at the IATA AGM 2026 in Rio de Janeiro. This morning, Meg O'Keefe, SVP Airlines Americas, Amadeus, joined industry leaders on a panel moderated by Clare Sebastian from CNN to explore how AI is shaping airline businesses and what comes next. Meg shared how AI can improve the traveler experience whether through enabling more intelligent, tailored retail experiences or managing flight changes more swiftly through voice rebooking. She also highlighted that development is underpinned by the need for clean structured, real-time data orchestration for AI to scale. The IATA AGM & World Air Transport Summit (6β8 June 2026) brought together leaders from across aviation, government and the broader travel ecosystem to address key industry priorities β from agentic AI and data to safety, sustainability and connectivity. π How can one moment in the sky move the world? In August, a total solar eclipse will turn day into darkness β a rare, extraordinary moment that travelers are willing to cross continents to witness. And the impact is already visible. Our latest data shows a clear surge in demand to destinations along the eclipse path, including Spain and Iceland, as travelers plan journeys around this once-in-a-lifetime experience: βοΈ Flight bookings up +25% year-on-year π¨ Hotel occupancy +16% and ADR +36% π Bilbao (+366%), Asturias (+292%) and Valencia (+137%) leading the growth But this is more than a spike in demand. It reflects a deeper shift in travel behavior β toward shorter, experience-led trips and a growing appetite for solo exploration, all driven by moments that cannot be repeated. From solar to lunar eclipses, one thing is clear: natural phenomena are powerful catalysts for travel. For the industry, this is an opportunity to move from reacting to demand to anticipating it β using data and technology to adapt in real time and deliver more personalized, connected travel experiences when they matter most. β‘οΈ Swipe the carousel to explore the insights. π Read more: https://ow.ly/39M450Z7TEK Tourspain #TravelTrends #AmadeusTravelIntelligence #ItsHowTravelWorksBetter
