🍌 Varcli Pinares SA. is setting the standard for sustainable banana production in Costa Rica, reducing pesticide use by 13% with Arable’s in-field technology. In collaboration with AgInnovaTech, Varcli implemented Arable’s sensing and monitoring system to power a predictive model that helps them combat the highly destructive Black Sigatoka disease. With this data-driven, proactive approach to disease management, Varcli has been able to significantly reduce fungicide spray applications.
