Enhancing women’s well-being through ancient Jewish practices.
About us
At The Well connects women around the world through transformative practices inspired by ancient Jewish Wisdom. At The Well is quickly becoming the Jewish voice in the wellness world and the wellness voice in the Jewish world. Our core product, Well Circles, are communities of women meeting for a renewed take on Rosh Chodesh, the ritual of marking the new moon. We leverage the following strategies to inspire women to join Well Circles and connect with their bodies, communities, and Jewish spirituality: Engagement: We reach and teach individuals and organizations with trainings, physical and digital products, events, and campaigns that integrate health and holiness. Education: We create and distribute webinars, zines, blogs, and videos that connect the dots between Jewish spirituality and women’s mental, emotional, and physical health. Expansion: We work hard to measure, track, and scale impact by understanding our audience and ecosystem. Data, fundraising, and infrastructure are major operational priorities.

- What is Rosh Chodesh? We believe it’s the best-kept secret of Jewish wisdom! In short, it’s a new moon holiday from Jewish tradition that offers space for inner renewal. Month after month, this holiday is an inspiration to connect more deeply to yourself, to community, and to traditional wisdom. The next Rosh Chodesh is this Sunday night, Aug. 4! What questions do you have about Rosh Chodesh?
- We have entered the Three Weeks, the most solemn time in the Jewish year. As we recall painful moments of destruction and exile, we also remember that the Divine Presence, known in Hebrew as the Shekhninah, can offer comfort. Our sages teach that the Shekhinah dwells with us wherever we may be. She accompanies us in our joys and tragedies, and holds us close. “She is the one connected to us always,” writes the medieval Kabbalist Moshe Cordovero (Ein Yaakov). Development of the Shekhina | Sefaria sefaria.org - If you’re feeling overheated and overwhelmed, that’s natural. This month of Tammuz is known as a time of piercing heat, physically and spiritually. What can you do? This month is actually associated with the element of water — encouraging you to find cooling, soothing influences that help you feel more at balance. Learn more about these elemental connections within Judaism — to support your own well-being, or to weave them into your professional teachings. - This is leadership. Rosh Chodesh teaches, fundamentally, that we each have freedom and agency over our own time and how we spend our lives. In a world that pulls women in so many directions, the act of marking time each month is a powerful tool for living with deeper intention. Read the newest Moon Manual at https://lnkd.in/gsiYdKGr
