Last week, we brought the Power of She to life at the 2024 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit, where female leaders across industries gathered for inspiration, conversation and connection. Our Chief Marketing Officer Ilona Aman kicked off the first day of the event by joining a panel discussion on the role sports play in fostering women leaders. The conversation underscored how continued investment in women’s sports is empowering the next generation through critical leadership skills like resilience, teamwork, and confidence. We also hosted an exclusive Move with Athleta Yoga Flow, led by LA-based instructor Danielle Acoff where 100 attendees connected through an energizing practice overlooking the ocean. Participants left with an exclusive Athleta set and yoga mat as a reminder of their experience. We kicked off the ESPYS by hosting the inaugural Athleta Power of She Luncheon, celebrating game-changing women who embody the #PowerOfShe on and off the field of play. Actress, activist and Angel City Football Club investor Sophia Bush and ESPN journalist Ari Chambers joined #TeamAthleta to co-host the inspiring afternoon of connection and conversation with women changing the game for sports, entertainment, journalism and beyond.
