About us

The Austin Convention Center (ACC) is a USGBC LEED® Gold EB certified venue located in the heart of Austin, Texas, the capital of the Lone Star State. We are based downtown comfortably situated amongst a high density of hotels with 11,000 guests rooms. Stretching over six city blocks the Convention Center amounts to 881,400 gross square feet. Our five contiguous exhibit halls offer 247,052 square feet of column-free space.

Always a pleasure hosting Visit Austin to talk Austin tourism, construction projects, and more with industry colleagues! That’s a wrap for day two of Texas Association of Secondary School Principals’ 2024 Summer Workshop! The Austin Convention Center hosted thousands of school principals and their colleagues this week as TASSP held their annual Summer Workshop in Austin to discuss the issues they’ll likely face in the upcoming school year.
