Austin Achieve Public Schools is an open-enrollment public charter school with the mission to prepare Austin youth to attend and excel at the nation’s top colleges and universities. We ensure college-readiness for all scholars through a comprehensive approach that includes academics, social and emotional development, and exposure to a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. We seek to graduate well-rounded scholars who are ready to excel in college and compete in the global economy. Really fantastic news to share is honored to be one of 57 nonprofits chosen as 2024 generational learning grant partners by Texas Mutual Insurance Company through an initiative to improve the health and wellness of Texas employees, strengthen the child care system and provide wraparound support. So honored to be partnering with such a community-minded company.
Austin Achieve's AmeriCorps & Special Programs Director, Naina Gonsalves, was interviewed by Collaborative Classroom and shared why SIPPS is the intervention of choice for students in grades 3–12. “SIPPS has absolutely been a game changer for us,” Naina said. “Since the AmeriCorps members at Austin Achieve provide essential small-group literacy instruction to upper-grade levels, having a research-based program we trust has made such a difference.”

Congratulations to Mr. Mark Rogers, 5th grade teacher at Austin Achieve Middle School-Manor Campus, who has been named one of Texas' three state finalists for the 2024 PAEMST Award for K-6 Mathematics! The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the highest honors bestowed by the United States government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teaching.
