If you only read headlines, you might think that TikTok just said they will be vanishing on January 19. Thx to misinformation/click bait that meme accounts posted yesterday all over IG. Here's what's actually going down👇 - TikTok appears before Supreme Court today - ByteDance will state that divesting of TT is impossible technologically, legally & financially by the 19th - TT also claiming this would violate 1st Amendment - Trump already asked SC to delay the ban - If SC doesn't delay the ban, Trump could lift the ban, refuse to enforce it, or ask Congress to cancel it once he takes office later this month - If the ban is upheld on Jan 19, Apple and Google would have to remove TT from the app stores - App won't just disappear from phones on Jan 19 - App would still function & it could buy itself time and remain active until Trump is in office to save the day - Even if removed from app store, Android users could still access the app store/updates through remote servers Will be an interesting day today! - "Influencer marketing isn't just a DTC play anymore — it's a must-have for brands in every space. 85% of B2B marketers now incorporate influencers into their strategies, from local small businesses to global corporations.
