About us

Founded in 2015, Band of Vices is an art and culture company committed to providing a platform and space to the often overlooked creative and narrative through a myriad of ever-evolving initiatives, including a highly curated exhibition program, culturally-relevant strategic partnerships, mission-driven community programming, and more. Headquartered in the burgeoning West Adams Arts District of Los Angeles, Band of Vices believes in disrupting the limited business model for up-and-coming artists and creatives. The platform most recently launched its BoV collaboration laboratory, (coLAB), a new discovery space for creatives to express themselves through curation, exhibition, performance and merchandising, to further allow impactful partnerships with emerging creatives. With two spaces, the Sacred House and now coLAB, BoV is further expanding its commitment to provide a platform for the undiscovered, diverse, LGBTQIA+ and differently abled artists and creatives to be seen. Band of Vices embraces uniqueness, diversity and inclusion.

What a week it's been! 🎉 From inspiring young leaders to deep discussions on critical topics, we covered a lot of ground this week. ✨📚 On October 1st, I had the privilege of guest lecturing in Dr Ricardo Pedroarias Leadership class at Loyola High School. We explored "Challenging the Status Quo"—and had an engaging discussion on developing leadership skills that inspire change and action. The students’ insights and questions were truly thought-provoking! 🍰 The very next day, we brought our passion for education to a community gathering in conjunction with Teach for America Los Angeles at Band of Vices, LLC of Vices for Desserts and Discussion. There, we delved into the significance of school attendance and its impact on student success. In case you missed the announcement, Band of Vices made the bold move from West Adams to the Historic Downtown Los Angeles Arts District. We now occupy the 1700 S. Santa Fe Avenue building along with Vielmetter, Nicodim, Wilding Cran, Gavlak and Patricia Sweetow galleries. Come check out our first new exhibition, Al-Baseer Holly's solo show, PUBLIC FIGURES...
