Our mighty CEO group is challenging ourselves and our community to put on effective campaigns to raise money and awareness to the cancer fighting community…and still enjoy and celebrate life at the same time! At our golf tourney, we raised over +$400K, heard from an incredible speaker who shared her personal journey, and we all had a great day at beautiful Sahalee CC…mission accomplished! What a week! I had so much fun attending my first MLB Think Tank event as a part of BDA's team. It was great to hear the creative and innovative ideas from all across the league and make connections with our amazing clients. Some highlights: - Meeting the rest of the BDA MLB team in-person and exploring Seattle ⚾ - Learning the magic (and logistics) behind the viral Hempler's Hot Dogs From Heaven activation from the Seattle Mariners 🌭 - Exploring new trends in bobbleheads like the clear polyresin "Ice Cold Ragans" bobble from the Kansas City Royals ❄ - Emphasis on the power of data to make strategic decisions and identifying key fan segments 📈 - The growth of theme nights across the board and attaching apparel items to lift these games 👕 - Discussions on giveaway strategies (peak on peak vs. using merchandise to lift mid-week game attendance) 🎟 - Making new friends across MLB 😊 Already looking forward to next year's event! We are thrilled to announce that the 21st Annual WA Golf Classic, presented by North Coast Electric, raised over $400,000 to support the American Cancer Society's mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone! 🏌♂️ A heartfelt thank you to all the sponsors, guests, committee members, celebrity golfers, volunteers, and vendors who made this event a success. A special thank you to our mission speaker, Melanie Williams, for sharing her story and being an inspiration to all! Together, we are helping the American Cancer Society fulfill its mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Together, we fight cancer. Together, we support cancer survivors and caregivers. Together, we remember loved ones lost. And together, we take action for lifesaving change. Lastly, thank you to Rob May and Evan Farris, our co-chairs, whose leadership and passion for the American Cancer Society brought this event to life.
