Book Club? Count us in! Did you know 40% of Millennials and Gen Z are part of some kind of activity club? Our Betches audience loves to scroll, but they’re also super into reading. So when we heard that Ferrero Nutella Biscuits wanted to become the ultimate club snack, we knew we had to team up. What better way to kick things off than with our very first Betches Book Club? Here’s the scoop: the Betches Book Club, in partnership with Nutella Biscuits, is officially live and you’re invited. We’re starting strong with a Book Club event in NYC, plus a virtual podcast for everyone to join in the fun and of course, we’ll be serving up a suite of branded content to make sure the partnership is even sweeter. The women's sports revolution is coming to audio. I have been DYING to do this story for years, but quite frankly, for a while, there just weren't enough major podcasts about women's sports for me to get the pitch to the point I wanted. Then, around this summer, iHeartMedia and Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment debuted their Women’s Sports Audio Network. Vox Media signed Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird to the network. Women-focused media outlets like Dear Media and Betches Media started to get more into sports content, podcasts included. The past year has also been a turning point for some of the more longstanding players in women's sports podcasts, like The Athletic and The GIST. Keeping my eye on the whole ecosystem for shoulder programming around women's sports. Just speaking personally, there's demand for it.
