The Gateway Library opened in Mesa, Arizona, this weekend, marking the city’s first new full-service library in 30 years. It is also the first library in the world to operate with Romi, our autonomous library robot. The new branch launched with selfCheck 3000 kiosks, flexAMH, remoteLocker, and RFID security gates. The 28,000-square-foot space now serves Southeast Mesa with sensory rooms, maker areas, and outdoor programming. The library is also a Certified Autism Center. Congratulations to the Mesa Public Library team on this milestone. We’re honored to be part of it.
