Today is a significant day for my U.S. colleagues and me as we honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's a time to reflect on Dr. King's principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change, and to celebrate his leadership in the civil rights movement. Thousands of volunteers across the country participate in service projects to pay tribute to his lasting contributions.
