WHO WE ARE: Cami Co. Lace is a team of local fashion designers, illustrators, and creatives who work together to build generational wealth in the African-American community by supporting HBCUs and student well being through their custom apparel sales and design. Originally created as a passion project when founder Cameran “Cami” Botts was on a hunt to find something fabulous to wear to her own homecoming festivities. This endeavor swiftly caught attention from friends and family, evolving into a now thriving brand that bridges the gap between school pride and forward fashion. Today, they have serviced over 15,000 students, alumni, and sports fans nationwide to spread the joy of Cami Co. Lace. WHAT WE DO: Cami Co. Lace specializes in creating custom, handcrafted apparel and accessories for the everyday athleisure fashion lover. Their signature techniques include hand-bleaching, hand-sewing, and innovative color block and corset styles, offering a unique collaborative fashion experience with the artists themselves. They take pride in each design, hand crafted with love for all sizes, colors and generations. WHO SHE IS: Cameran "Cami" Botts is more than just the founder of Cami Co. Lace; she is a trailblazer in the fashion industry, an advocate for self-empowerment, and a beacon for aspiring entrepreneurs. Raised in Philadelphia and a proud Spelman alumna, Cami aspires to be a dedicated philanthropist, uplifting communities and fostering positive change.
