We’re excited to announce a new pilot partnership with the Center on Rural Innovation (CORI) aimed at expanding access to Coach in rural communities! This partnership represents a key step toward providing personalized, on-demand #CareerSupport in areas where resources may be limited. Through Coach, community members will gain access to tailored guidance for #CareerExploration, #SkillBuilding, and #JobReadiness. We look forward to the positive impact this initiative will have and the potential to reach even more rural communities in the future.
Findings from a recent survey by Tyton Partners - Strategy Consulting reveal a significant divide in #AI use within #HigherEducation. Students are adopting AI at high rates, but many institutional staff and faculty lag behind, leaving students without the guidance they need. Key insights include: 🌍 Student vs. staff adoption: Most students report regular AI use, while almost half of support staff have never tried it. 🎓 Educators who use AI tools are more likely to recognize their potential for enhancing learning. 📜 A gap in student and instructor expectations around acceptable AI use, especially in writing and math, shows the urgent need for clear guidelines to protect academic integrity. 💸 Paid vs. free: While institutions by and large are NOT paying for AI tools, nearly half of students using AI tools for schoolwork do pay for subscriptions, with demand especially high among older, online, and working students. 🔍 Half of students trust information from school-provided AI tools, more so than from public AI sources—showing a unique opportunity for institutions to introduce trustworthy, tailored AI solutions. 🚀 #CareerReadiness: Administrators and instructors increasingly see AI as essential for students' career preparation.
