This year's event featured an impactful speech by special guest Tim Tebow, University of Florida Quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner, and NFL first round draft pick. Tim shared his own journey with Parkinson's as his father's diagnosis has brought these challenges close to home. Yesterday, Caring People had the honor of sponsoring a special Veterans Day event at @Five Star Senior Living in Teaneck, NJ, celebrating the incredible veterans in their community. We recognized 24 veterans during a heartfelt ceremony where each hero received a certificate honoring their branch of service. A talented resident poet also shared a moving poem dedicated to these brave individuals. After the ceremony, veterans enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Caring People, giving everyone a chance to connect and share memories. We were proud to sponsor a chair yoga session at Society House Assisted Living in Livingston, fostering wellness and mobility for residents. In Asbury Park, we met with the Community Affairs & Resource Center, a partner that will receive many of the donations from our ongoing coat drive. Our participation at the Freehold Senior Center health fair provided us the opportunity to engage directly with seniors, sharing resources and support to help them live happier, more fulfilling lives. At Caring People, we are dedicated to the mission of supporting the well-being of seniors. #community #CaringPeople #CaringPeopleNJ
