We recently completed a significant milestone with a successful nighttime concrete pour under the stars. This development is on track for occupancy by the end of 2025. We recently joined our client Carmel Partners in hosting Girls Inc. of Alameda County for a tour of Atlas in Oakland, California. The organization partners with over 60 Bay Area schools and works to introduce girls to varied and exciting career paths. It was inspiring to take them through the building and share our insights on what architecture and design careers have to offer.

Thank you to our President of Construction, Duane Carlson, and support from Natalie Decker & Sabrina DeGenova for organizing this event to benefit the American Cancer Society. Special thanks to Daniel Widner, who spoke on behalf of the ACS, sharing the impact our donations have on the fight for a cure. Leaders from our San Francisco Development and Construction division, along with, suppliers, and subcontractors, teed off together in this magnificent setting. Carmel Partners recently held an inspiring event at Girls Inc. of Alameda County, an organization dedicated to helping young girls envision a bright future, realize their potential, and achieve success. Partnering with over 60 Bay Area schools, Girls Inc. of Alameda County has positively impacted over 1,500 female students from underrepresented backgrounds. Our team was joined by 25 remarkable girls who learned about our individual career stories before touring Atlas, our Oakland, CA property. The tour introduced the girls to careers in Development, Construction, Asset Management, Marketing, Operations, and HR, expanding their perspectives to options they hadn’t previously considered. We were heartened to see their enthusiasm and curiosity. Carmel is proud to support Girls Inc. of Alameda County and their mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
