Chimes International, as the parent organization, leads and supports subsidiaries, which provide services to over 20,000 people in six states, the District of Columbia and Israel. With a rich history spanning over seven decades, the Chimes Family of Services represents three distinct business models or service components: Intellectual Disabilities Services Employment for People with Disabilities Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Services All of the above are recognized for innovative, flexible and responsive solutions that achieve results. Happy Veterans Day and thank you to all veterans for their service to our country. Chimes is proud to support and employ many veterans within our workforce. Eric Henderson, U.S. Army Retired, served in the legendary 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and jump master. Following his service to our country, Eric found a home with Chimes DC. As a disabled combat veteran, he has been a key part of the team for the past seven years at Fort Liberty, North Carolina as the Training and Quality Control Manager. What an amazing #purplerising win by the Baltimore Ravens last night. Some of our Baltimore area Chimes team members got in the 'Purple Thursday' spirit with an afternoon tailgate before the big game. What a FUN way to spend your lunch break on a mild fall day!

The Chimes School came alive yesterday with a spirited Halloween celebration! Students and staff showed off their fantastic costumes, and the door decorating contest brought out everyone’s creativity with festive, imaginative designs. It was a day full of fun and Halloween cheer! 👻 🎃
Our day program in Delaware is always finding fun seasonal activities for the people we support! Program attendees in Millsboro recently rolled up their sleeves and learned how to make apple pie from scratch - talk about a delicious fall treat! Great job Millsboro!
We’re happy to share that we’ve received a #TruistFoundation grant to support our mentorship program, aiming to develop productive, goal-oriented, and impactful leaders and relationships throughout Chimes!
These Smiles Say It All! - Being a part of the day program at Chimes Virginia can mean a lot of things…It can mean volunteering at a local nonprofit or enjoying a movie in the theater room at our facility OR out in the community at a movie theater in a mall. It can mean reading in our library or bowling or creating artwork with friends. The adults we support in Fairfax, VA and beyond have many choices in both our day and community living settings. Making every day a meaningful day is what Chimes is all about in Virginia and throughout the mid-Atlantic region!
