Today is National Cut Your Energy Costs Day, and Cleco’s Power Wise program is committed to helping businesses save through LED lighting upgrades, HVAC change-outs or upgrading your commercial kitchen to ENERGY STAR appliances.
The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) presented Cleco Power with two Emergency Response Awards for power recovery efforts following Hurricane Francine and mutual assistance following Hurricane Helene. Presented to EEI member companies twice a year, Emergency Response Awards recognize recovery and assistance efforts of electric companies following service disruptions caused by extreme weather or other natural events. Members of the Cleco talent acquisition team attended an event last week at Alexandria Senior High School where JAG students participated in mock-interview sessions to prepare them for job interviews. Students were given feedback on their skills, posture, eye contact and communication.
