About us
Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTCs) offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with an addiction to opioids such as heroin or prescription painkillers. MAT offers many of the same benefits as other outpatient programs, allowing adults to receive the addiction treatment they need while still attending school or work and living at home. However, unlike other outpatient treatment programs, MAT involves a prescription for medications such as methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. These medications help adults manage the uncomfortable symptoms of withdrawal that can occur when detoxing from opioids. MAT medications are proven safe and effective when taken under the direction of a healthcare professional. Along with prescription medication, CTCs offer appropriate counseling, giving adults the tools they need to address any underlying mental health conditions. This can be in the form of individual, family, and group therapies. Group therapy sessions help bring adults out of isolation and cover topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, emotion regulation, and healthy communication. The use of medication to ease withdrawal symptoms has been shown to help adults stay focused during their therapy sessions and makes them less likely to begin using opioids again. By combining medication with appropriate counseling from mental health professionals, CTCs can help adults achieve happier, healthier lives free from opioid use.

We will never forget.
- Every year, more than 700,000 lives are lost to suicide worldwide, according to WHO estimates. This tragic statistic highlights the urgent need for action and support. To confront this epidemic, we must encourage open conversations, dismantle stigma, and advocate for mental health awareness. This Suicide Prevention Day, let’s stand united. Join the International Association for Suicide Prevention’s (IASP) global movement and be part of the change. Together, we can make a difference and save lives. Let’s raise our voices, offer support, and remind each other that hope is always within reach. #ChangeTheNarrative

- On Overdose Awareness Day last month, our Pennsylvania clinics came together to honor the lives lost to overdose. Patients were given "In Memory Of" cards to write the names of loved ones they've lost, creating a touching memorial board filled with the memories of those who are no longer with us. This tribute is a powerful reminder of why we continue our mission—to support, remember, and fight for those impacted by addiction. Together, we honor their memory and stand united in the fight against overdose.
- Today, we remember those who have lost their lives to overdose and stand united with those impacted by this devastating loss. Overdose knows no boundaries; it touches families, friends, and communities around the world. This day is not just about remembrance; it's also about raising awareness, which is crucial in preventing future tragedies. By educating ourselves and others, we can break down the stigma surrounding addiction and overdose, promoting understanding and empathy. Speaking openly helps those struggling to seek help without fear or judgment, ultimately saving lives. #OverdoseAwareness
- On Women’s Equality Day, we want to honor the incredible female employees who make a difference for our patients, their families, our communities, and one another.
