We are very excited to introduce you to Steven Turner, CSI Aviation’s highly-skilled, Second-in-Command (SIC) pilot with more than a decade of aviation experience under his belt. Steven’s aviation journey began at age 14 when he would ride his bicycle to the local glider club every weekend while working for flight credits. He said that effort taught him the value of hard work and helped him to build a strong foundation in energy management and situational awareness—skills that continue to define his flying today. Steven credits his military service for refining his ability to work well under pressure and for cultivating the importance he places on teamwork and safety without compromise. CSI Aviation’s demand for excellence aligns with Steven’s background in precision flying, leadership, and mission success. He says he is thriving in this environment of excellence where only the most skilled and disciplined pilots are trusted to carry out critical air medical and charter missions. Even outside of CSI Aviation, Steven’s passion for flight remains unwavering—he spends his free time instructing in gliders. An endurance athlete, he also enjoys running marathons and long-distance cycling.
