On Monday, we recognized our veterans and their families at our annual Veterans Day 🎖️ ceremony at our corporate headquarters. This included a veteran march, a color guard flag-raising 🇺🇸 presentation by the U.S. Marine Corps, and a recognition breakfast hosted by our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging team and VETS Associate Resource Group. In addition, specially commissioned Dollar Tree and Family Dollar challenge coins, which have a rich history in the military and symbolize camaraderie, honor, and recognition, are being distributed to all of our veteran associates. We hope these coins serve as a reminder of our appreciation and respect for their service. We are pleased to announce several executive leadership appointments. Steve Schumacher has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer. Steve’s leadership, deep expertise, and ability to align our people strategy to the ever-changing needs of the business have been instrumental in driving Dollar Tree and Family Dollar forward. He stepped into this position in an interim capacity six months ago and has truly risen to the occasion. Jocelyn “Jocy” Konrad has been named Chief of Dollar Tree Stores and Enterprise Store Operations with oversight of all Dollar Tree operational responsibilities. Jason Nordin has been named President of Family Dollar Stores to play a key leadership role in the business’ formal review of strategic alternatives. In the press announcement, Interim CEO Mike Creedon said, “We are incredibly fortunate to have two exceptional leaders in Jocy and Jason, who bring unparalleled expertise and commitment to the Dollar Tree and Family Dollar banners.” Please join us in congratulating Steve, Jocy, and Jason on their expanded roles.

Every year, we support Chesapeake Regional Healthcare with a sponsorship of their Bra-ha-ha 💖 event, a celebration of the strength and determination of those affected by breast cancer. The proceeds provide free mammograms and breast health services to underinsured community members in Hampton Roads, where our headquarters is located. The winners of our corporate team's own bra-decorating competition 🏆 were able to attend and see their hard work on display.
