🏆We’re honored that the United Therapeutics Corporation Phase 5 cGMP Warehouse has been recognized as Engineering News-Record’s Best of the Best project in the Manufacturing category! This national award reflects the project team’s exceptional commitment to sustainability and excellence in manufacturing construction. Located in the heart of the Research Triangle Park (RTP) in Durham, NC, this 55,000-sq.-ft. current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) distribution facility is the fifth phase and the second site net zero building on UT's RTP campus. This facility provides much needed Ambient and Cold Storage warehouse capacity to support continued product line expansion. Designed to meet cGMP for pharmaceutical products, the facility meets exacting standards for 24/7 temperature control, which made a zero-carbon design an especially challenging goal. Executed as a design-build project, the Phase 5 cGMP Warehouse is truly raising the bar for sustainability standards in the industry. DPR is proud to have partnered with Hanbury, Affiliated Engineers, Inc. and our skilled trade teams to bring United Therapeutics' vision to life.
