Title: Assistant Engineer Location: Los Angeles or Nashville Rates: 19.61/hour(LosAngeles)∣19.61/hour (Los Angeles) | 19.61/hour(LosAngeles)∣17/hour (Nashville) This position involves directly supporting the engineers, clients, and management at Electric Feel. The Assistant Engineer’s key responsibilities include preparing for and assisting on sessions, organizing and maintaining the studio rooms and facilities, pickups and deliveries for clients and staff, and some technical assistance. The successful candidate will: ● be extremely organized with the ability to problem solve and think ahead ● be timely, reliable, accurate, and dependable ● have an enthusiastic attitude ● be familiar with Pro Tools, + Logic, Ableton, FL a plus ● be familiar with pro audio and studio equipment ● be working towards a career in music production and engineering ● have proficient communication skills, both written and verbal Duties & Responsibilities ● General cleanliness and maintenance of the studio ● Notice and maintain client amenities including meals, drinks and snacks ● Offer hospitality to clients ● General assistance and errands for the studio ● Plan and prepare for sessions ● Patching, mic setup, documenting, and note-taking ● Session setups and breakdowns ● File management, distribution, and backups ● Support and assist working engineers Competencies ● Some familiarity with console functionality ● Basics of studio monitoring and calibration ● Understand signal flow ● Vocal recording/mic setups ● Producer setups ● Experience with patch bays ● Pro Tools experience and/or Logic, Ableton, FL Studio ● Ability to effectively and resourcefully troubleshoot issues in a recording environment Please send resumes to jobs@efent.com #hiring #nashville #losangeles #assistantengineer #engineer #musicindustry #jobopening - We're Hiring! The Role This professional will be a core member of Electric Feel Ventures and will help oversee the diligence of new investments, portfolio monitoring, and the ongoing valuation process and operations of the firm.
