Meet Jessica Diederich: A Champion for Collaboration Her Accomplishment: In her three years with the organization, Jessica is most proud of the new housing development called the Habitat Homestead. In her first week on the job, she and the retiring CEO drove past a large, empty lot and immediately sensed its potential, even if they couldn't fully envision the possibilities at the time. After purchasing the land from a fellow nonprofit, Jessica spent the next two and a half years working closely with the City of Green Bay, generous donors, and industry experts to create a thoughtful and impactful plan. The project involved building a completely new infrastructure, including a road and a stormwater retention pond. Just last week, two building permits were issued, marking the start of construction. Once completed, the development will feature 14 new homes, providing deserving families and individuals who have worked tirelessly toward their goal of homeownership the chance to realize their dreams. Her Goal: Over the next three years, Jessica's goal for the organization is clear: to build more homes, faster, to meet the growing need. She emphasizes that collaboration will be the key to achieving this ambitious vision.
