Today, Rove opened its first fast, #fullservice #EVchargingstation in Santa Ana, California. Users can access amenities like well-lit spaces, Wi-Fi access, a car wash, a dog park, and even a selection of high-end groceries from Gelson's Markets. But its 40 #DCchargers are only partially powered by a #solarcanopy and #batterystorage to offset increased #powerdemand, meaning it's still pulling power from the grid. While not perfect, it's a step in the right direction. Especially for serving #EV drivers on Interstate road trips. Enteligent envisions a world where #solarcharging is as common and convenient as charging your phone. We're working to place our #DCcoupled chargers where people work, play, shop, attend school, or otherwise go about their daily lives so they don't have to make that extra stop by the charging station and pay for grid-supplied electricity.
