As a supplement to the on-site medical care provided at our Silao upholstery plant, Ethan Allen CEO Farooq Kathwari’s family foundation funds a vision assistance program for the children of associates, ages 6 to 10. In addition to free eye exams, children in need of vision correction receive free glasses, which both empowers them to perform better in school and contributes to their overall well-being and confidence. Many of you are aware of the impact of Hurricane Helene on our facilities in North Carolina—or have been impacted yourselves. We are grateful to share that our teams are safe, though damage in the region is extensive, and some of our plants are still without power.
