Full Circle Health Network is a network of providers delivering coordinated community-based services across California.
About us
Full Circle Health Network is an integrated network of nonprofit, nationally accredited providers delivering coordinated, community-based services to vulnerable children, individuals and families across California. Full Circle exists to ensure more Californians can access culturally congruent and trauma-informed care from a high-quality network of community-based organizations that address their whole-person and whole-family needs. We accomplish this primarily through the following core activities: • Support providers to enroll in managed care plan networks. • Provide administrative support to providers so providers can focus on their core competencies of serving clients. • Drive improved coordination between providers and across multiple systems through technology infrastructure, training, and practice support. •Diverse, Culturally Responsive Care Full Circle providers are embedded in their communities and have decades of experience serving individuals with complex needs and engaged with multiple public systems, such as child welfare, justice, and specialty mental health. The Full Circle network includes more than 50 providers with over 100 locations across 32 counties. Our network is uniquely qualified to address unjust racial inequities through trauma-informed approaches to care. About 90 percent of clients served by our network are children and families of color: 55% are Latinx and 19% are African American. Our providers hire people from the communities they serve and prioritize delivering culturally congruent care. All providers have bilingual staff members. Full Circle's network currently provides these CalAIM services: - Enhanced Care Management - Community Supports - Community Health Workers

We’re excited to share that Maryvale has received approval from the City of Rosemead to move forward with its new supportive housing project! This initiative will transform existing space into 20 family suites, providing temporary housing and critical support services for young mothers and their children facing housing challenges. For decades, Maryvale has been a pillar of support in the San Gabriel Valley, and this project is a testament to their ongoing commitment to uplifting families in our community. By offering comprehensive mental health care, childcare, and educational support, this facility will provide a foundation for stability and growth. Big News: DHCS received federal approval to cover culturally centered substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services provided by traditional healers and natural helpers. ✨ "I would like to gratefully acknowledge the leadership of CMS and DHCS for entering into this historic agreement to include cultural practices in the treatment of substance use disorders. As Native people, we are keenly aware of the importance of incorporating traditional health modalities in health and healing," said Jesus Tarango, Tribal Chairman of Wilton Rancheria. “For the first time, Medicaid is acknowledging the vital role traditional healers and natural helpers play in recovery,” said DHCS Director Michelle Baass. "These culturally centered health practitioners have long provided vital substance use disorder services without recognition or reimbursement from health care programs like Medi-Cal." “CMS’ approval is first and foremost the fulfillment of the efforts of our Tribal leader and Urban Indian organization partners whose vision and steadfast advocacy made this a priority,” said State Medicaid Director Tyler Sadwith. “The California Rural Indian Health Board (CRIHB) applauds DHCS for securing this federal waiver to allow Medi-Cal to cover traditional health care practices for SUD treatment services provided through Tribal, Indian Health Services, and Urban Indian organizations,” said CEO Dr. Mark LeBeau. “American and Alaska Native people have a very unique set of needs. The type of healing we need and deserve must be culturally based and reflective of who we are as a people,” said Virginia Hendrick, Director of the California Consortium for Urban Indian Health. “In reimbursing these services, California is not creating new services. It’s the state and federal government acknowledging that Indian country has resources and tools to heal ourselves.” "Friendship House is greatly encouraged by DHCS’ commitment to integrating traditional healing practices into the broader health care delivery system,” said Clayton Dumont (The Klamath Tribes), Chief Operating Officer at Friendship House. "This initiative recognizes the value of our ancestral knowledge and ensures holistic care is accessible to those who need it most." To read the full piece, visit: https://lnkd.in/g8TbFJGM
