Mark your calendars! Saturday, October 26th from 9 am - 3 pm, Georgia Tech College of Design and Georgia Tech School of Architecture are hosting The One Building Symposium at Reinsch Pierce Family Auditorium. Architects, take note - 6 HSW credits! RSVP here: https://lnkd.in/eEjK-56YOne Building Symposium 1, Defining a New Center - Fourth Ward Atlanta, initiates a series of ‘One Building’ symposia where individual buildings or complex developments will be examined from the points of view of multiple disciplines and stakeholders. This initial symposium focuses on a significant new development in Atlanta’s Fourth Ward by New City Properties, and will investigate the ambitions of the developer within the site and context, the ideas behind the selection of the building design teams, and providing a forum for the developer, planner, architects, landscape architect, engineers and contractor to discuss their work in depth – to create a discourse around the ideas and issues that are continuing to build a significant new urban center in Atlanta. -
