As a leader in STEM and a parent, Daniel has valuable advice on supporting children’s interests in the field. “As parents who pursued careers in STEM, it has been amazing to witness our children embrace the field as they advance through their education. This year was particularly significant for us as we dropped our daughter off at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and saw our son join the STEM Academy at our local high school. My advice is to encourage your children to participate in STEM clubs or academies offered by their schools. This way, they can be surrounded by like-minded peers who share their interests.
