Just a reminder that Goodwill is participating in the last Little Rock Recycles Day of the year! 🤗 Join us this Saturday, November 16th from 9am-12pm in the East parking lot of the Little Rock Zoo. These items will be accepted for recycling: + Documents for on-site shredding + e-Waste (anything with a power cord except fridges & window AC units) + Glass + Plastic grocery bags (and other soft plastic film like bread bags, over wrap from cases) + Single-stream recycling (MUST BE CLEAN! Plastic bottles, cardboard, paper, cans - the regular contents of a curbside recycle cart) + Bicycles + Household items (things you would take to Goodwill) Swing by the East Parking Lot at the corner of Zoo Drive and Monroe to participate! This past week, Brian Marsh (President and CEO) and Louis Alderman (Vice President of Operations) traveled to Europe with local Goodwill CEOs and other leaders across the Goodwill network to SPINNOVA®, a textile material innovation company. They learned more about their innovative and sustainable method that turns post-consumer cotton, wood pulp and used leather into yarns to reenter the textile market. This helps us step into advancing the future of textile circularity in North America. Our goal at Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is to continue promoting and growing our sustainability efforts, and this helps us take it to the next level. 🌎 #goodwillar #sustainability #transformingarkansas
