This annual event, taking place this year on Sunday, September 22 from 9 a.m. to noon, brings together more than 500 volunteers of all ages at two locations — Scheck Hillel Community School and Temple Beth Am — to assemble High Holiday baskets of food and personal hygiene products. https://lnkd.in/gWm_77Av

Kaufman, who began on July 1, led the Jewish Federation of Detroit for 10 years, galvanizing its younger generations and surpassing fundraising goals. Here in Miami, he noted, “The current uptick in population growth, along with the heightened sense of Jewish connectivity, has created many important opportunities that we can seize. The Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred continues to lead the way in fostering allyship between the broader community and the Jewish community. In partnership with Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Jewish Federation of Broward County, the Palm Beach Center and Federation joined together to take ten Florida lawmakers on a study tour of Israel.
