St. Petersburg General Hospital is now HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital. We provide comprehensive emergency, diagnostic, medical and surgical services. We are a Blue Distinction Center for Maternity Care, as designated by Blue Cross Blue Shield, and we offer advanced labor and delivery, postpartum and nursery services. Our hospital's mammography and ultrasound services are accredited by the American College of Radiology, and The Joint Commission designated our hospital as a Primary Stroke Center. We are also a Comprehensive Community Cancer Program. Other health services include GYN Robotic Surgery Training Epicenter, The Pelvic Pain and Incontinence Center and The Orthopedic Center. Hurricane Helene wasn't going to stop little Alaya! It turns out that hurricanes run in the family. Alay Mojena Almenares was born on Thursday night to Nelida and Armando, her grateful parents. Nelida's sister also had a baby 3 years ago during a hurricane! Nelida and Armando are grateful to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital for providing the best possible care while the winds and rains of Helene gusted outside.
