The Mid Atlantic Region hosted their third annual Women Leadership Seminar (WLS) in Kent Island, MD. Mid Atlantic welcomed guests from Rocky Mountain region, Southern California region and Corporate with a classic Maryland crab feast accompanied by plenty of Old Bay seasoning. The two-day seminar featured several panels that sparked engaging discussions. One of the panels, titled “Let’s Talk About Burnout,” was led by Hensel Phelps leaders and discussed mental wellness, work life balance and the importance of recognizing when to seek support. Attendees also learned about resources Hensel Phelps offers to help manage stress and burnout. Aileen Fuchs, executive director of the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, spoke about her path to leadership. We are proud to announce the successful completion of the St. Austin Catholic Parish site redevelopment program, a landmark collaboration between Greystar Development Central, LLC and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Austin. This $160 million project includes the construction of a 29-story student housing building and a 5-story parish building. The student housing building will contain approximately 423 units, 991 beds and a 418-car parking garage. The ground level will house a lobby area, office, gymnasium and building service functions. The parish building will house classrooms, a parish hall, administrative offices, meeting rooms, an exterior playground and a rooftop activity deck.
