Meet Travis Cox, MBA, a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 8 years of service in the Marine Special Operations and Scout/Sniper communities, including a combat tour in Iraq from 2006-2007. Driven by a childhood dream of becoming a sniper and the events of 9/11, Travis dedicated himself to serving in some of the most elite units in the military. Now, here at HOLT CAT, he applies the discipline and servant leadership he learned in the military, striving for continuous improvement and fostering teamwork. His guiding principle: "Never above you, never below you, always beside you." Beyond his professional life, Travis is an active board member in the veteran community, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor, and an avid hunter. He and his wife Jenna, childhood friends since 4th grade, are proud parents of twin daughters, Susie and Regan. Together, they enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. Meet Gabriel Baker, a dedicated U.S. Navy veteran who served for 9 years in explosive detection with K-9 units. Driven to serve his country after 9/11, Gabriel brings his commitment and expertise to HOLT CAT, where he mentors high school interns in machine troubleshooting, sharing invaluable military lessons in resilience and problem-solving. His favorite part of the job? Seeing his interns—Ozzy, Leo, Bryan, and Alejandro—grow and thrive in the field. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys kayak fishing and spending time with his wife, Katy, a firefighter/paramedic and former world champion rower. As we approach Veterans Day, we’re honored to highlight the veterans on our team who bring their service, skills, and dedication to HOLT CAT. Today, we recognize Daniel Cordova, a Lead Technician with an inspiring background of military service and commitment to excellence. Daniel’s journey began in the Marine Corps, where he served on active duty from 2002 to 2006. He continued in the reserves until 2009 and later joined the Colorado Army National Guard, serving until 2013. Inspired by the events of 9/11, he chose a path of service and selected a career as a heavy equipment mechanic—a decision that has led him to a fulfilling role with HOLT CAT. With nearly two decades of experience, Daniel has been part of the HOLT CAT family since 2015, bringing his expertise in troubleshooting and repair to keep our customers’ equipment running smoothly. When he’s not working, Daniel values spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their five children, Stephen, Logan, Anthony, Isabella, and Patrick.
