Founded in 1918, IAAPA represents more than 5,000 attraction, supplier, and individual members around the world. Members include professionals from amusement parks, theme parks, attractions, water parks, resorts, family entertainment centers, zoos, aquariums, resorts, cruise lines, science centers, museums, manufacturers, and suppliers. We are thrilled to welcome two new team members, advancing our association's efforts in safety and sustainability, Global Director of Health & Safety and Security, joins IAAPA with over 24 years of experience and is a recognized leader in amusement safety. Freeman's extensive background includes being a functional safety engineer and instructor at Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, where she played a crucial role in ride and show automation. In her new role with IAAPA, Freeman will continue to advocate for safety and security within the industry, ensuring that IAAPA members benefit from her vast experience and forward-thinking approach.Ylva Linder, Global Director of Sustainability, will bring 25 years of experience in strategic and operational sustainability work, offering an abundance of knowledge to our association. Linder was appointed Head of Sustainability at Liseberg in 2017 where she drove, developed, coordinated, and monitored their sustainability efforts across the board.
