Every year, Charles Koch and Chase Koch speak to interns at the annual Intern Q&A event, sharing how they’ve applied principles of human progress to achieve success in life and in their careers. Check out a few pieces of advice they shared at this year’s event - Congratulations to INVISTA Kingston, Ontario, Canada, for achieving International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS certification. This is certification of our processes to verify and validate our use of bio, circular, and bio-circular adipic acid and hexamethylene diamine (HMD). We can now offer options for ISCC PLUS certified nylon 6,6 polymers and fibers, helping our customers around the world with their environmental goals. This achievement, along with the recent ISCC PLUS certification for our Victoria, Texas site, highlights our commitment to stewardship and providing our customers with options.

- INVISTA celebrated the completion of a major expansion at its nylon 6,6 polymer site at the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, doubling the site’s annual production capacity to 400,000 tons with an investment of 1.75 billion RMB ($240 million USD). This expansion will enhance local supply reliability and responsiveness to market demands, supporting industries such as automotive, electronics and consumer products.
