After standing empty for over two decades, the construction management, materials testing, and public relations teams from Kleinfelder and Kleinfelder Construction Services worked in tandem to ensure timely execution and keep the community informed. Kirsten Ryan, P.G., Kleinfelder’s Drinking Water Practice Lead for New England, has had her paper, "Data-Driven Decision-Making: Regulatory Drivers and Long-Term Supply," published in the latest issue of the Journal of the New England Water Works Association (September 2024). The paper addresses the significant challenges faced by public water utilities in the context of evolving regulations, particularly the stringent new limits on PFAS contaminants set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and provides a framework for strategic, long-term water supply planning. Kleinfelder's Ohio Area Architecture Team, the designers behind Penta Career Center’s new E-Mobility Center, recently attended the project’s groundbreaking ceremony, celebrating a major milestone for the state-of-the-art facility. Our team is playing a pivotal role in enhancing the educational environment at Penta Career Center, a public vocational high school in Northwest Ohio that provides career-technical education to more than 1,300 students in grades 10-12. The school selected Kleinfelder to lead four capital improvement projects aimed at upgrading and expanding its facilities.
