- Meet Andy Howard, K2’s Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff With over 16 years in the global sports industry, Andy Howard is a seasoned strategist who brings a history of driving growth, transformation, and innovation across product go-to-market, retail, and supply chain operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Hispanic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also played varsity soccer—a commitment to excellence that later led him to semi-pro play in Germany. From leading Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa to launching the groundbreaking Leo Messi Signature Product, Andy’s work has spanned some of sports’ most iconic moments. After earning his Master's in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Andy’s career continued at Nike, where he spent seven years tackling complex challenges in Consumer Insights, Strategic Planning, and Operations across Retail and Supply Chain. Known for his problem-solving abilities and strategic insight, he has a knack for creating alignment and efficiency within teams to drive high-impact results. He currently resides in Denver, Colorado, with his wife and their two dogs, Dora and Huxley. We’re honored to welcome Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher to the K2 team’s distinguished career reflects a commitment to excellence and service that aligns perfectly with our mission. She brings decades of national security and intelligence experience, including recent roles as the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for South Asia on the National Security Council and as the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché to India. Her journey began at the U.S. Naval Academy, commissioning in 1990, and continued through pivotal roles as an officer in the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System and as an intelligence collection manager with the Defense Intelligence Agency. Eileen’s leadership extended across Joint Commands, including U.S. Space Command and U.S. Strategic Command, where she supported complex operational intelligence efforts and served as Chief of Special Project Branch and Operations Officer (J3). In Afghanistan, she led the Operational Coordination Group, working with senior Afghan government officials. Her command tours include overseeing the Office of Naval Intelligence and directing the Joint Reserve Intelligence Support Element at Offutt Air Force Base. Eileen’s dedication has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit, among others. Beyond her professional achievements, Eileen has been married to Chris Laubacher for 30 years, she is a proud mother of five, whom she homeschooled for 15 years, and a grandmother to three. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome such a remarkable leader and inspiring individual to our team. Welcome, Eileen!
