- ⭐️ Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Infosys Women in Technology Summit, where we participated in insightful panel discussions. One session, led by Inderpreet Sawhney from Infosys and Raynelle Deans Grace from Vanguard, focused on debunking myths about women in the workplace. The conversation centered on building a strong network, overcoming imposter syndrome, and embracing the journey with a sense of fun. 💭 Next, Adam Bryant led an engaging discussion, breaking us into groups to explore our leadership identities. We shared personal experiences and discussed leadership traits that resonated with each of us. 💻 We also heard from Diana Caballero of SAP Financials and Uma Raman from AVP - Emerging Commercial Technologies, who spoke on the topic of nurturing leadership in an equitable workplace. The panel discussions concluded with Fariba Alim-Marvasti from Aetna International, who explored the evolving role of AI in the workplace. 🎊 The evening wrapped up with photo opportunities, dinner, and great conversations with fellow attendees at Madison Square Garden during the Cyndi Lauper Farewell Tour. 💌 A heartfelt thank you to Infosys and Jose Zapata for the invitation and for their commitment to celebrating women in technology!

Wow, wow, wow! I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this weekend’s Pasaporté event was. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the energy and sense of community that Pasaporte brings. Being able to moderate my own panel was a huge milestone for me, but even more special was the opportunity to meet so many beautiful people who share one common goal—to grow and bring others with them along the way. It was inspiring to hear everyone’s stories, see their passion, and feel their commitment to lifting each other up. Pasaporte was created as a way to give back to our community que nos ha visto crecer, and yesterday was a powerful testament to that. Seeing everyone come together, celebrate our roots, and work towards building a stronger future felt like something truly special. I’m so grateful to the entire Pasaporte team for putting this together—it was no small feat, and the result was nothing short of magical. I also want to thank, Tatiana Carett, PT, MPH, MBA , Sandra Mosquera Vargas and Caryl Marie Perez for accepting to be on this panel and making this experience so special 🫶 The sky is truly the limit for our community, and I’m beyond excited to see where we go from here. 🇩🇴Latinas In Tech - New York City #hispanicheritagemonth #hhm #latinasintech #latinasintechnyc- +4

- Latinas in Tech NYC had a wonderful time participating as a mentor and moderator for the ALPFA NYC Pride + Entrepreneurship Challenge on 09/27 at the Accenture offices in Hudson Yards! We had a chance to see four amazing teams develop innovative ideas to improve healthcare for the LGTBQ population by pitching creative tech solutions to improve access to care, reduce health disparities and increase mental health support services. Kudos to all the teams for your hard work. Congratulations to Patiently for winning first place and additional coaching services! 🙌🏽 After serving as mentors and coaches, we moderated a panel to discuss the theme of: “Combating health disparities in LGBTQ+ communities through Innovation & Emerging Tech” with incredible panelists Yulkendy Valdez (She-Her) from Google for Startups, Andrea Carucci from Accenture and Fernando Gomez from First Republic Bank where we dove into the intersection of health and tech to discuss how we could apply these innovations for improved population health. Thank you so much to ALPFA New York for extending us an invitation to partner. We want to congratulate the incredible planning team that made it all happen: Camila M., Celso Reed , William Reed de Oliveira and Miguel Jara.
