Got to present my manuscript "Hybrid Music Recommendation with LightGCN" at the 4th International Conference of Science and Technology (ICST 2024) on 16th October for which I got the best presenter award 🏆in the Data Science and AI track😃 My research, supervised by Prof. Matthew Dailey, was mainly about combining content and collaborative filtering using Graph Convolution Networks for a music recommender system. Many thanks to Bibek Paudel dai for his sharp insights and suggestions on the manuscript. I got to witness a lot of interesting AI-based research and insights from Asia during the conference although virtually. Next time hopefully will attend the conference on-site. The research was conducted at the Asian Institute of Technology and Leapfrog Technology, Inc.Will be sharing the proceedings once it gets published. This conference was organized by South Eastern University of Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS). Hope we can have a similar conference here in Nepal too, where we can share research on AI and computer science.
