We are proud to share the vision for Louisiana State University's new, state-of-the-art Construction & Advanced Manufacturing Building, supported by a $15 million leadership gift from Art Favre, founder of Performance Contractors and a graduate of the first LSU construction management class in 1972! This new facility will expand LSU’s engineering corridor and position LSU’s thriving construction management program to be a world-class leader in the field. Empowered by the generosity of Favre and fellow donors, the Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management - LSU will lead in boosting Louisiana’s economic future and forming the leaders of tomorrow’s workforce around the country. In just one year, classrooms across Louisiana are experiencing the transformative impact of the Windgate Foundation’s generous investment in the Louisiana A+ Schools program, now housed within the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education. This is the power of philanthropy at work through LSU!
We are celebrating one year since the incredible Louisiana A+ Schools at LSU, a K-12 arts integration program, joined our flagship Lutrill & Pearl Payne School of Education in the LSU College of Human Sciences & Education. It was made possible by a generous $1.3M gift from the Windgate Foundation.
