About us

People like you help Make-A-Wish® bring lasting, positive change into the lives of kids with critical illnesses. Your support makes it possible for us to grant their wishes, giving them a reason to stay strong through treatments and to believe in the promise of a better future. Though we grant a wish every 34 minutes in the United States, we need to grant a wish every 18 minutes to serve every eligible kid. Every single person who supports us by donating, volunteering or referring a child can be part of our mission. Since 1983, Make-A-Wish OH, KY & IN has granted over 15,000 wishes to local children facing critical illness. Anna loves the outdoors, leaves no rock unturned in search of critters, and even catches fish with her hands. Her wish was to go to Hawaii and she was particularly excited to go coastal foraging and climb a coconut tree so she could eat a coconut that she picked herself. Join us Saturday, October 26, to come together, share stories, and strengthen your connection to the Make-A-Wish community in your region. All are welcome and wish families are encouraged at attend!
